Introduction to the MIS Dashboard
The MIS Dashboard (MID) offers visual insights into the data stored by the Management Information System. The stored data can be difficult to process in a raw format, so the dashboard provides a user friendly way of gaining insights, in a format that can be easily transferred between stakeholders. Helping you make data driven decisions.
As you know from the previous chapter, the Management Information System allows an author to specify that certain data points should record the values provided by the end users. If you have configured your server to use MongoDB to store the data, you then also have the capability to make use of the MID.
To install the dashboard on your server, please contact us directly. Once you have access, this is what it will look like:

In this example there are only two models with MIS data stored. Once you select a model, a tool belt appears on top. These tools will unlock the insights into your MIS data.

In the coming chapters, we will explain each tool individually.
