Introduction to the MIS Dashboard

The MIS Dashboard offers powerful visual insights into the data stored by the Management Information System. This data can be vast and difficult to navigate in a raw format, so the dashboard puts it all in a friendly environment which is capable of making complex calculations in order to deliver you the insights you need, in a format that can be easily transferred to your stakeholders. Potentially helping you make business critical data-driven decisions.

As you know from the previous chapter, the Management Information System allows an author to specify that certain interfaces should store the values provided by the end users. If you have configured your server to use MongoDB to store the data, you then also have the capability to make use of the MIS Dashboard.

To install the dashboard on your server, please contact us directly. Once you have access, this is what it will look like:

In this example there are only two models with MIS data stored. Once you select a model, a tool ribbon appears on top. These tools will unlock the insights into your MIS data.

In the coming chapters, we will explain each tool individually.
