Webadmin Domain Management
Domains are a layer of access control to help you define who can access which models. The way it works is as follows:
You create a new domain, let’s call it “Accounting”. Then you add all of your accountants to that domain (in this example you own a company with an accounting department, congratulations!), then add your accounting model(s) - now even though none of the accountants published the accounting model(s), they all gain access where previously they would only have had access to models they published themselves.
You can create a new domain by clicking the +
button at the top of the screen.
Once you select (or create) a domain, you are shown two lists, in separate tabs; users and models.
Selecting a user or model highlights the selection in green, which denotes that it has been added to the domain.
The changes are immediate - there is neither the possibility nor need to ‘Save’ the changes.
